Each rosary I make is custom engraved by hand. The engraving beads I use are 5 X 20mm Sterling Silver melon beads.
The engraving beads are made of sterling silver and will tarnish (discolor) with time giving them that 'antiqued look' ,that is why I include a polishing cloth with all my rosaries.
ENGRAVING- Each engraving bead can hold 4 lines of engraving; but, due to the size of the engraving bead I can only engrave up to 10 letters/characters, including any spaces, per engraving line. My largest custom rosary is the Generations Heirloom Rosary, it can hold up to 40 names. If your family is larger than 40 members you can purchase additional engraving beads for $5.00 each, you would need to buy 2 at a time to keep the rosary arrangement even.
